What We Believe
From Genesis to Revelation
We believe the entire Bible—from Genesis through Revelation—is the inspired Word of God and reveals His plan for humanity.
God
There is one God who created all things. He revealed Himself to humanity by becoming man—Jesus Christ, God in flesh, Emmanuel: “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23; Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4–6; Colossians 2:9–10; 1 Timothy 3:16)
The Gospel & Salvation
The Gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:1–4)
We become partakers of this Gospel through:
-
Repentance — death to a sinful lifestyle
-
Baptism — burial with Christ
-
Receiving God’s Spirit — resurrection to new life
(Acts 2:38; Acts 8:16–18; Acts 10:44–48; Acts 19:1–6; Romans 6:1–5) Jesus called this experience being born again of water and Spirit. (John 3:1–5)
Resurrection
Those who have been born again and live submitted to the lordship of Jesus Christ will be resurrected immortal at His Second Coming and will rule and reign with Him in His kingdom. (Revelation 5:9–10)
Eternal Judgment
Those who reject the Gospel will be resurrected to stand before the Great White Throne of Judgment. The saved will receive eternal life, while the lost will face eternal separation from God. (Revelation 20:11–15)
Scripture
The Bible—in its original manuscripts—is the inspired Word of God and the final authority in all matters of faith and truth. (2 Timothy 3:16)
